What's that old saying?

I normally do not go for flashy items, but after watching lots of Top Gear, I expected to be knocked out when I saw this car in real life. I saw it in the parking garage at work, and thought, Huh? Really? That's it. I expected, wanted to be overwhelmed by its beauty, style, and some other intangible item of design. I felt disappointed and bored by looking at it.

And then a few days later, I heard it starting up. I will admit, after my heart restarted, my heart skipped a beat. What a gorgeous gorgeous sound! Despite what my mother said about getting into cars with strangers, if the owner had offered me a ride, I would have hopped in without a second thought.

As always, watch out for the quiet, boring ones. You never know what they're hiding.

can't quite make out the identifying marks in the photo, so what kind of beast was this that got your heart racing?

While living in England, I was walking down to High Street when a low rumbling stopped me in my tracks. A Lamborghini was idling down the street. Holy cow, did it sound sexy. I was totally surprised by my reaction.
